Hey, resident loser Jeremy here.

This whole thing started as a frustration. Its really hard to find a community of like minded individuals… who don’t connect with the whole “we’ve got it figured out” culture that seems to be prevalent in our industry. When I reached out to some of MY favorite, most influential mixers/engineers in my early career, I got a lot of the same kind of things. Individuals who work hard, who are passionate about their craft, and who know they are in a constant state of screwing up.

That idea stuck with me. I’ve learned you’re always going to screw things up. It’s going to happen. But if you go into that situation with a willingness to figure things out, the gumption keep at it, and HUMILITY… then your clients will trust you. At the heart of this business are our clients.

Trust means repeat clientele. And repeat clientele means a sustainable career.

What we get to do, whether thats a job, in a commercial space, at home, or just as hobby… is something that some people can only dream of. And we can’t forget that. We are very lucky. But all in all… are just some losers making music.
